IRONMONGERY QUALITY INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. INSPECTION STANDARD

Our inspections abide by the Chinese National Standard for inspection
(ANSI/ASQC Z1.4/ BS6001 /NFX06-022 /DIN40080 /ISO 3786:1976/ QB/T 2474 - 2000)

2.4 Pen, inspection forms, digital camera

2.5 Salt Fog Corrosion Test Chamber

2.6 Air Compressor

2.7 Sodium chloride

2.8 Distilled water

2.9 Opening-Closing cycles test equipment

3. SAMPLING

We sample in accordance with the Chinese National Standard for sampling
(GB/T2828.1-2003/ISO 2859-1: 1999-(MIL-STD-105E))

4. INSPECTION PROCEDURE

4.1 We first count product quantity: units per carton, cartons per pallet and pallets per container

4.2 We check that packaging is appropriate: wrapping, boxing, palleting, marking, labelling and printing

4.3 We determine the sample size in accordance with the Chinese National Standard
(GB/T2828.1-2003/ISO 2859-1: 1999-(MIL-STD-105E))

4.4 We randomly select cartons for inspection. We mark cartons with China Link' s chop for easy identification and to ensure cartons inspected are in fact those selected (click picture to enlarge)

4.5 We open every selected carton and individually inspect every single unit (click picture to enlarge)

5. ASSESSING TEST RESULTS

We accept or reject a batch on the basis of Acceptance Quality Levels (AQL)

We group product quality defects in the following categories:
     Grade A quality defects: serious quality defects, related to product safety or design
     Grade B quality defects: medium quality defects, related to product function
     Grade C quality defects: general quality defects, related to product aesthetics
     Grade D quality defects: slight quality defects, related to packing and printing

For Lock Bodies and Door Handles: the lot would be rejected if 1% of units or more had Grade B defects; 1.5% or more had Grade C defects; 4.0% or more had Grade D defects.

For Hinges, Slides and Pull Handles: the lot would be rejected if 1% of units or more had Grade B defects; 2.5% or more had Grade C defects; 4.0% or more had Grade D defects.

We caculate the actual number of defects which we accept in a batch with the help of the tables below:
